Happy New year everybody and welcome back to the Smarties blog

This week the children have been playing with the soft play and the tunnels. The children have been practising their gross motor skills and balancing on them. The children have also been playing with the books in the tents and sharing the stories with each other.

The children have been playing with duplo and making towers counting how many blocks they have and naming the colours they are using.

The children have been playing with the soil and making lots of mess with the soil and making the cars move through the soil.

Smarties have been painting and using lots of colours and different tools such as sponges and brushes making marks and talking about what they have made.

The Sweeties have been exploring the preschool room this week. Check the preschool blog for an update on what the Sweeties have been up to.

Hope to see you again next week.
