Assistant Nursery Manager

We require an assistant manager with previous managerial experience who will assist the nursery manager in the running of 121 place day nurseries. We seek someone who is inspirational and imaginative, ready for the next challenge. Someone who will support the manager and cover the nursery in her absence and support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage. While promoting and facilitating partnerships with parents/carers. You would be capable of developing and maintaining highly professional working relationships with local authorities departments and other agencies as well as keeping abreast of current developments in childcare to assist with the preparation and delivery of staff planning, parent meetings, and other events as well as learning and development. You would support staff in implementing planning and activities in their base room three days a week, the other two days will be office based. 

 

This is a full-time permanent position working 7.5 hours a day Monday - Friday. 

Salary  £24,000 - £27,000 per year

Qualified Early Years Practitioner

The Early Years practitioner's role is to ensure all the children receive the highest possible standards of care and education, whilst promoting a high standard of quality within the nursery. A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is required to support appropriate planning and assessment are accurately maintained, whilst implementing and adhering to nursery policy and procedures. As a key person, you will establish and maintain professional positive working relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers as well as other external professionals which include Ofsted.

 

Full-Time permanent position working 7.5 hours a day Monday - Friday 

Salary £20'709.00p per year
