A well-established nursery in Yardley with an ‘Outstanding ‘Ofsted judgement is seeking  experienced Early Years practitioners to take on the positions within our busy nursery working with children aged 3 months -   5 years and their families.  

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are ready to join our team of committed practitioners. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are experienced and would like a new challenge. 

 

Our Early years team work together to care for and teach our children providing the best start possible. As key persons at the nursery you will plan, monitor and evaluate activities for the children in line with the the EYFS whilst ensuring safeguarding standards are met.  At Little Swans we believe that an Early years role with us could be start of a long career with us, our variety of roles within the nursery and training means there is ample opportunity for personal and professional development.

 Description: All candidates must have;

 

  • must be qualified to NVQ level 3 or above in childcare

  • a clear enhanced DBS disclosure

  • two satisfactory references

  • Have GCSE’s in English and Maths A-C grade

  • Good professional level of spoken and written English

  • Being willing to further develop their skills and knowledge

  • At least 2 years’ experience working within a childcare setting and/or the baby unit/toddlers

  • Good level of ICT skills

  • Be proactive, self –motivating, have the ability to inspire and mentor team members

  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
