At Little Swans Day Nursery, we aim to make our fees and funding information clear and easy to understand. We follow government guidance to ensure families know exactly what is free, what can be charged for, and how you can access your child’s funded hours.
Government Funded Childcare
We offer giverment funded childcare for eligibale families please see informtion on this in
Stretching Funded Hours
You can choose to “stretch” your hours across the year (for example, 11 or 22 hours per week over 51 weeks). This can help families who need childcare outside of school term times and hours.
What Funded Hours Cover
Funded hours cover childcare only. The government does not provide funding for additional items such as meals, consumables, or extra-curricular activities.

Additional Charges for Funded Hours ONLY
These charges apply only if your child is attending on a funded place for either 15 or 30 hours term time only. They cover items not included in the government funding outside the 'basic package':

Important Information

Funded hours are free at the point of delivery – you will not be charged for the funded entitlement itself.

Any hours taken in addition to your funded entitlement will be charged at our standard nursery rates.

A funding declaration form and nursery contract must be signed before your child’s funded place begins.
